For Tennis the US Open is here and you can see a lot of grand slam tennis action, as Serena Williams seeks to gain her 1st Career Grand Slam after she won the Wimbledon, Roland Garros French Open and the Australian Open. However, in the Women’s singles there are a couple of players who could bring an end to Williams run. In the Men’s singles there are also a few talented players seeking to get attention under the New York bright lights.

So with that said let’s look at some potential Sleeper picks for the ATP in this 2015 US Open. Starting with M. Raonic, a young Canadian Tennis player who at the Australian Open happened to play the best match of his tennis career to date, on the only other hard card in the 2015 Grand Slam. He made it to the quarterfinals before losing to the present World No. 1 player N. Djokovic is 3 sets at 7-6, 6-4 and 6-2. Then in the semifinals he lost to S. Wawrinka in Rotterdam back in February, and another semifinal loss to R. Federer in March at Indian Wells, with those 2 semifinal matches being on a hard court.

This season the Canadian Raonic is coming on as a contender, and presently has a price of +4,000 to win the Grand Slam Title for the 1st time in his career.

Another of the Sleeper’s is N. Kyrgios an Australian player with a lot of talent whose immaturity has kept him from playing at his best. He normally let his frustrations escape during his games, and the most notable was when he lost to R. Gasquet at Wimbledon in 4 sets as he would outburst on his opponents serves. However, when he is playing his game, Kyrgios can be almost impossible to beat, especially when he has the serve in the game. When playing on hard courts in 2015 he has been victorious on 88% of his serves, and accumulating some 180 aces during that same period. Unfortunately he struggles on his receiving game as he has won only 14% on returns on hard courts this 2015 season. Presuming the he will use his skill and not show his immaturity his price to win this US Open is at +10,000 and a win would bring benefits for his supporters.

In the WTA there is one lady who can stop S. Williams and that’s her sister Venus who we slate as a Sleeper at +6,000 to win the title. She is the oldest of the two sister and this season has had a type if resurgence, as she made it to the quarterfinals in the Australian Open as well as the Miami Open, and the semifinals at the Doha Open this 2015 season. At Wimbledon she played a good match with Sister Serena when she lost 6 to 4 and 6 to 3 this season. Truth be known, Serena has difficulties playing her sister Venus, as in the past she has taken the matches as being t o easy. A possible scenario would see a quarterfinal match with Serena, and Venus taking the win and going on to win the US Open tournament this 2015 .

Then there is WTA Sleeper Switzerland’s T. Bacsinszky whom in the ultimate 3 grand slams has been on a roar. In the French Open she was very competitive, and lost to S. Williams in 3 sets, then moved on to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon losing to then surging G. Muguruza 7 to 5 and 6 to 3 this season. Take note that she has a tremendous return game that can be problematic for opponents, as she has won some 43.4 % on her return game in 2015, as she converted some 48.2 % of break points in 2015. Presently for the US Open, Bacsinszky is listed at + 8,000 odd to win. So if you Bet on Tennis at a sportsbook, be sure you get in your US Open picks in early.
