Texans Fall Short with Comeback Against Colts

Finally NFL football betting fanatics got to see a competitive matchup up in Thursday Night Football, and if you laid the under you got to see quite a payout. The Indianapolis Colts kept on proving that they are serious business this season as they held off the home team Houston Texans in a evenly matched game that ended up being 33 to 28.

Indianapolis had Andrew Luck — the X factor — to step up big and ended up stealing away the W. Luck threw for 370 yards and three touchdowns last night, undoubtedly becoming the game’s MVP.

The Texans were no slouches, as Arian Foster tried to lead the Houston squad to victory and got really close. His effort was valiant but ultimately wasn’t enough.

Mind you, the Texans were down 24-0 in the first quarter, and at that point NFL football betting fans were fearing another blowout victory like the prior five TNF games that we saw. Houston began gaining momentum and were on the verge of making a comeback, but the decisive play that halted their advances was a late fumble by franchise receiver Andre Johnson. That fumble proved to be costly at the end of the game.

This important win puts the Colts in the top spot of their division and after two losses at the very beginning of the season, they have now a 4 game winning streak. In Week 7, they await perhaps a real threat to make that streak stop as they face the Cincinnati Bengals at home, but confidence will be flying high.

The Houston Texans will be featured in Monday Night Football when they play against the Steelers, hoping to bounce back and start to turn things around.

As for the Colts, they are showing all signs that they will march on to the playoffs and NFL football betting enthusiasts should keep and eye out for them, specially if Andrew Luck keeps bringing his A game.
