Sportsbook – Vikings Officially Done After Getting Routed by Packer. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers easily covered the odds at the sportsbook site as they routed the Minnesota Vikings 31-3 on Sunday. Any chance that the Vikings had of doing anything this season is now over as they have fallen to 3-7 on the season. The Vikings are simply a team you can’t bet on at the sportsbook right now.
Aaron Rodgers threw for 301 yards and four touchdown passes as he proved that the Packers are a far better team than the Vikings. Greg Jennings caught three of those four TD passes as the Packers routed the Vikings and Brett Favre. The Vikings played poorly again under head coach Brad Childress who could be fired at any time.
Vikings Quit
There were many people who wagered at Sbg global that thought the Vikings quit in the game against the Packers. The players are sick of playing for Childress and there was no question that it was not a very good effort from Minnesota. Favre has played poorly most of the season and that was the case again on Sunday. The Packers led 17-3 at the half and the game was really over. Minnesota got Sidney Rice back for the first time this season but it didn’t matter as he had only three catches. Favre was 17 for 38 for 208 yards and played missed receivers all day long. Favre has 17 interceptions this season. The Vikings have turned the ball over 22 times this season and they are last in the NFL in turnover differential.
Green Bay a Super Bowl Contender
There is no doubt that Green Bay is a Super Bowl contender at the sportsbook website. They have given up just ten points in their last three games. The offense is very explosive with Rodgers throwing it to Jennings and others. Green Bay still has some tough games remaining this season though including a game next week against the Atlanta Falcons who are one of the top teams in the NFC. The Packers also have later tests remaining against New England and the New York Giants and those games won’t be easy either as the Packers could be underdogs in both games vs. the sportsbook odds. Green Bay won’t have to worry about the Vikings this year though as Minnesota is no threat to make the playoffs this season.
