Lead In for The Ultimate Fighter – UFC Fight Night 22 is a lead-in for The Ultimate Fighter. It will be the 12th season of the Ultimate Fighter and it should be a good one with UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre coaching against #1 contender Josh Koscheck.
Worthy Main Event – The main event fight between Marquardt and Palhares was originally going to be a Pay-Per-View fight but now we get it for free. Marquardt is coming off a loss to Sonnen but that loss doesn’t look too bad based on what Sonnen has done lately. Palhares is an up and coming fighter who is starting to get more feature bouts. Marquardt is the better striker while Palhares is the submission expert. If Palhares is to pull off the upset it will probably happen early. If he doesn’t catch Marquardt in a hold he is likely to lose a decision against the odds at the sportsbook website.
