It has only been four weeks but there are some definite trends that are appearing in the NFL and some teams to follow as you bet over/unders at the sportsbook website. Two teams are perfect in terms of going over or under the total so far at the sportsbook. The New England Patriots have gone over the total in all four of their games this season while the Minnesota Vikings have gone under the total in all three of their games.
The Patriots went over the total again this past Monday night as their special teams were superb in a 41-14 win over Miami. The Patriots have been very good on offense this season with Tom Brady and although their defense played okay versus Miami, they have not been very good overall. It has resulted in four straight overs against the odds at the Sbg sportsbook.
Vikings Under – The Vikings have gone under the total in all three of their games. They had a bye last week and play the New York Jets on Monday night in what figures to be another low scoring game. The Vikings offense has been Adrian Peterson and nothing else as Brett Favre has looked old and tired. Minnesota’s defense is good and overall their games have been low scoring.
Over Teams – Eight teams have gone over the total in three of their four games this season. They are the New York Jets, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals. Did you notice anything about those teams? All but one of them is AFC teams. The scoring is in the AFC this season.
Under Teams – There are seven teams that have gone under the total at the sportsbook in three of their four games. Baltimore and Pittsburgh are the two teams from the AFC which makes sense considering their strong defenses. The other five teams are from the NFC. They are Philadelphia, Chicago, Green Bay, Carolina and St. Louis. The only surprise from that group is Green Bay since they have a strong offense. It should be noted that three teams, Dallas, Kansas City and Tampa Bay have played only three games with two of their three going under the total at the sportsbook website.
