Sportsbook Website – Number One Pick Bradford to Start for the Rams

Sportsbook Website – Number One Pick Bradford to Start for the Rams. The St. Louis Rams may not be a joke this season at the sportsbook website with number one pick Sam Bradford as their starting quarterback. The rookie will start the opener at home on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. The Rams are 4-point underdogs at the online sportsbook.

The Rams really have nowhere to go but up. They have been awful for years but there are some encouraging signs for St. Louis starting with their rookie quarterback.  Bradford played very well in the preseason and was even better than A.J. Feeley who was expected to open the season as the starter.  Head coach Steve Spagnulo is excited about his team heading into the season.

Rams Getting Action at the Sbg global sportsbook – How is this for something unusual? The Rams are getting some action from bettors this week.  Part of that is because people don’t like the Cardinals but another part of it is because gamblers at the online sportsbook like the looks of St. Louis with Bradford at quarterback.

Bradford is Ready – Bradford is no slouch.  He won the 2008 Heisman Trophy with Oklahoma.  The Rams are paying him big money as he signed a six-year, $78 million contract with $50 million in guaranteed money. Bradford was 21 for 28 for 257 yards and three touchdowns in his two preseason starts.

Interesting Game – If you said before the season that you wanted to watch Arizona vs. St. Louis in the opener you probably would have been called crazy. That is not the case now. This game is really interesting now for gamblers at the sportsbook website.  Bradford is starting his first game as a rookie while Derek Anderson is starting for Arizona.  There are actually reasons to watch and wager on this game and who would have thought we could say that a few weeks ago?  Arizona is just 1-4 ATS in their last five road games so that doesn’t help them. The concern if you bet the Rams is that they are 7-21 ATS in their last 28 games vs. the NFC West but you are hoping that Bradford turns things around for them. One trend that does help them is that the home team in this series is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings.
