Sportsbook Website – Monday Night Football This Week is Boise State vs. Virginia Tech

Sportsbook Website – MNF his Week is Boise State vs. Virginia Tech. You do have a Monday Night Football game this week at the sportsbook website and it should be a great one.It is not NFL action though, as we have to wait another week for that but getting Boise State and Virginia Tech is a pretty good substitute.  ESPN will have that game on Monday and it could be the best one on the odds board at the sportsbook company.

This game has national title implications and it is only Week 1.  Third ranked Boise State has a joke of a schedule for the most part and if they win this game they could easily run the table and go undefeated this season.  That could mean they play for a national title.  How is that for Week 1 importance? The only other game that might be difficult is against Oregon State later this month but the Broncos have that game at home.

Boise Favored – Boise State is a 2-point favorite at the Sbg sportsbook with a total on the game of 50.  The game will be played at Fed Ex Field in Landover, Maryland so there is no question the edge in fan support will be with 10th-ranked Virginia Tech.

Into the Spotlight – Boise State is 9-5 in season openers since beginning division one football in 1996 but they have never won a road opener.  The Broncos will not be able to play on their blue turf for this game and they will not go under the radar.  Boise State is 49-4 the last four seasons under head coach Chris Peterson but they rarely play anyone the caliber of Virginia Tech. That will end next season when Boise moves from the WAC to the Mountain West.

Offensive Shootout – This game could easily be an offensive shootout which is why the total at the sportsbook website is high. Boise State has quarterback Kellen Moore and excellent receivers in Titus Young and Austin Pettis. The Broncos were first in the country last year at 42.2 points per game.  Virginia Tech has some talent on offense as well with quarterback Tyrod Taylor and running back Ryan Williams.

As you decide who to bet at the sportsbook company keep in mind that the Broncos are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games while the Hokies are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Under is 6-1 in the Broncos last 7 non-conference games and the Under is 5-2 in the Hokies last 7 games overall.
