Sportsbook Website – Jets Don’t look like Super Bowl Contenders in Loss to Packers

Sportsbook Website: Jets Don’t look like Contenders in Loss to Packers. The New York Jets are one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl at the sportsbook website but they looked awful on Sunday in a loss to the Green Bay Packers. In fact, the Jets were shut out for the first time since 2006.  The Jets were coming off their bye week and they were never a threat to cover the football odds at the online sportsbook.

Packers Win 9-0

The Packers didn’t do much on offense as they only got three field goals from Mason Crosby but that was enough against a New York team that looked like they were still on their bye. The Jets were favored by about a touchdown in this game at Sbg global but they were sloppy and inefficient all day against a Green Bay defense that is nothing special.

Way Under the Total

It was a windy day in New York and both quarterbacks had problems.  The win also caused trouble for both kickers but Crosby came through with three and that is more than New York got.  The quarterbacks were very inefficient in the wind.  Rodgers was 15 of 34 for 170 yards, while Sanchez was 16 of 38 for 256 yards and two interceptions. The first half was so bad for both teams that it was hard to know which team was worse. Green Bay gained 123 yards of net offense and went 0 for 7 on third downs in the first half. The Jets had 148 yards but they had two first half turnovers.  The Jets did get some yardage in the second half but they had seven penalties and three turnovers so it was an easy win for gamblers who bet the under at the sportsbook website.

New York Winning Streak Ends

The Jets will still get some respect in Super Bowl odds at the sportsbook website but there is no question now that the Pittsburgh Steelers are the best team in the NFL. There were some people that thought the Jets were equal with the Steelers but not anymore.  There have to be some legitimate concerns now about the Jets at the sportsbook and they are no longer the favorites to win the Super Bowl.
