Sportsbook Website – Gambling and the Memphis Grizzlies

Sportsbook Website – Gambling and the Memphis Grizzlies.  The Memphis Grizzlies are making news on and off the court at the sportsbook website.  Memphis has been winning money this season for gamblers at the sportsbook company but their off the court problems are continuing.  Even though they Grizzlies are just 16-19 straight up, they are a profitable 21-13-1 against the spread for gamblers at the Sbg global sportsbook.

Teammates Fighting
Memphis guards O.J. Mayo and Tony Allen got into a confrontation on Monday over money that Mayo lost to Allen in a card game.  It got so heated that several players had to separate the two.  Memphis coach Lionel Hollins had to go so far as to ban gambling on team flights.  Some NBA teams already had banned gambling on team flights after what happened last year with the Washington Wizards and their players Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton as that confrontation involved guns in the locker room.

No Problem for Allen
It didn’t appear that the fight bothered Tony Allen as he had 19 points in the Memphis straight up win and cover against the NBA odds at the sportsbook website over Oklahoma City on Tuesday night.  It is another story for Mayo. He is reportedly on the trading block and he didn’t even play on Tuesday as he supposedly had bronchitis. Mayo does have a swollen eye so not only did he lose money to Allen it also looks like he took the worst of the action in the altercation.  The team gave the reason of bronchitis for Mayo missing the Tuesday game but the injury he suffered in the fight sound like the real reason.

Trouble for Mayo
It has not been a good season for O.J. Mayo all the way around. He is averaging just 13.2 points per game this season.  He averaged 18.5 two years ago in his rookie season and he averaged 17.5 points per game a year ago.  He is now down substantially from that number and the Grizzlies are looking to trade him.  Chicago has been mentioned as a possible destination but with his recent play and his recent troubles, the trade value for Mayo has gone down and he is no longer considered a key player who can impact the NBA odds at the sportsbook company.
