Sportsbook Website – Bowyer Steals the Spotlight at Talladega

Sportsbook Website – Bowyer Steals the Spotlight at Talladega. You might have missed this on a busy NFL Sunday but there was a wild finish that got the attention of NASCAR bettors at the sportsbook website. Clint Bowyer was able to just beat out teammate Kevin Harvick to win at the Talladega Superspeedway.  Bowyer got the win against the odds at the online sportsbook while the race for the Sprint Cup Championship stayed tight.

Race Finishes Under Caution
Bowyer was able to win the race on the last lap that ended under caution after a wreck had caused AJ Allmendinger’s car to flip across the track. NASCAR had to review the finish before they declared Bowyer the winner. It was not all bad for Harvick as he finished in second and gained ground in the Chase.  The race on Sunday was another typical restrictor plate mess.  There were 10 different drivers that led the first 13 laps. The first caution came out in Lap 69.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. actually led the race at the halfway point but the lead changes so often it didn’t matter. He collided with Jeff Burton on Lap 134 for another caution. Just a few laps later the big wreck happened with Montoya, Harvick, Bowyer, Ambrose, Bill Elliott and Robert Richardson Jr. involved. There was another caution on Lap 152 and then the race finished under caution on the last lap.

In two week the series goes to Phoenix for another race televised on ESPN. The season concludes on November 21st with the race at Homestead Miami where the Sprint Championship could end up being decided.
