Sportsbook Website – Bank of America 500 Odds

Sportsbook Website – Bank of America 500 Odds. NASCAR will share the spotlight at the sportsbook website with college football on Saturday afternoon. The series goes to Charlotte for the Bank of America 500 with Jimmie Johnson the favorite at the sportsbook in the race that can be seen on ABC.

Five Drivers at 10-1 or Less at Sbgglobal – Jimmie Johnson is 3-1 to win this week’s race.  Kyle Busch is the second choice at 6.5 to 1 while his brother Kurt is 8-1.  Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle are each 9-1.

Other Contenders – Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart are 10.5 to 1.  Kasey Kahne is 13-1 while Matt Kenseth is 16-1.  Jeff Burton, Clint Bowyer and Jamie McMurray are each 18-1.  Everyone else is 20-1 or more at the sportsbook website.

Johnson the Defending Champ – Jimmie Johnson is the defending champion and he is a deserving favorite at the sportsbook. Johnson won the pole last year and dominated this race.  Matt Kenseth was the runner-up while Kasey Kahne finished third.  Jeff Burton won this race two years ago while Jeff Gordon won in 2007.  Kasey Kahne won in 2006 while Johnson won in 2004 and in 2005. Johnson won the race last year and became the first driver since 1982 to win from the pole.

Johnson leads the Chase – Johnson has a 36 point lead over Denny Hamlin and is beginning to distance himself from the other drivers in the chase.  It looks like there is a very good chance that Johnson can win his fifth straight Sprint Cup title.  Johnson has won at Charlotte a total of six times, three times in the fall.  J.J. has finished in the top five nine times at Charlotte. He is almost always in the top 10 with 13 top 10 finishes in 18 races. He has the best average running position of any driver in the race.  He has won from the pole and he won in 2003 from the 37th starting position and that is the farthest back a race winner has started.
