Sportsbook Site – Just one Unbeaten Team Left in the NFL. There is one unbeaten team left both straight up and against the NFL odds at the sportsbook site. It is the New Orleans Saints right? No, well how about the Indianapolis Colts. No, well then, the Dallas Cowboys, or the Baltimore Ravens. Still stumped huh? It is the Kansas City Chiefs. Yes, the Chiefs are 3-0 both straight up and against the NFL odds at the offshore sportsbook.
The unbeaten streak for Kansas City should end this week as they visit the Indianapolis Colts. Not many people thought that Kansas City would start 3-0 but their schedule hasn’t been that difficult. The Chiefs won their opener in the rain against San Diego and then they beat Cleveland and San Francisco. But hey, 3-0 is 3-0 and the Chiefs are the only unbeaten team.
Reality Check – The Chiefs are not a great team. That much we already know. They have an offense that is not very good but their defense is improved and their special teams have been great. They will have to play a lot better on offense this week if they are to keep up with Peyton Manning and the Colts. The Chiefs should be better this week simply because the Colts defense is rotten.
Big Dog vs. Colts – The Chiefs are 8-point underdogs at Indianapolis at the Sbg global sportsbook. It is not everyday that you will see an unbeaten 3-0 team getting 8 points against a 2-2 team but that is the case this week at the sportsbook site. People still don’t believe in the Chiefs and the Colts are a popular team with the public even though Indianapolis does have some weaknesses.
Upcoming Schedule – The next couple of weeks are tough for Kansas City against the odds at the offshore sportsbook as they are likely to lose at Indianapolis and Houston but the remaining schedule is favorable. After the Houston game they get Jacksonville and Buffalo at home and if they win those two games they would be 5-2. They can win at Oakland while they will probably fall at Denver. They then have winnable games at home against Arizona and at Seattle. They then host Denver before tough road games at San Diego and St. Louis. They close out the season at home vs. Tennessee and Oakland. We know the Chiefs won’t go 16-0 but their schedule is favorable enough where they could make the playoffs.
