Sportsbook Site – FC Dallas vs. Colorado in MLS Cup.The MLS Cup will be decided on Sunday and odds are up at the sportsbook site for the match that can be seen on ESPN.It will be FC Dallas taking on Colorado in the championship game from Toronto, Canada. Neither team was that highly regarded at the offshore sportsbook before the season began but both teams got hot at the right time. Dallas is a slight favorite in soccer odds at Sbg global.
FC Dallas
This will be the first-ever appearance in the MLS title game for FC Dallas.
They are led by head coach Schellas Hyndman who has made some excellent moves this season. He brought in David Ferreria on loan from Atletico Paranaense and it worked out great. Ferreria has been a dynamic player this season for FC Dallas and is one of the main reasons they are in the final. He is in contention for the MVP award this season. Hyndman also brought in veteran goalkeeper Kevin Hartman and he is another big key for Dallas. 11 years ago Hartman was the MLS goalkeeper of the year and many thought he didn’t have much left but he proved everyone wrong this season. He was the difference last week when Dallas upset the favored Los Angeles Galaxy against the soccer odds at the offshore sportsbook.
Colorado
The Rapids have made the final just once and that was back in 1997 when they lost to DC United. The Rapids were definitely not expected to make the final this year. They have been led by the duo of Conor Casey and Omar Cummings. They accounted for 27 of the Rapids’ 44 goals this season. Colorado also has a very good midfielder in Pablo Mastroeni who is one of the best in the league. He scored the only goal in their first leg win over Columbus. Colorado has an excellent goalkeeper in Matt Pickens who doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
Dallas and Colorado were not the picks by most people at the sportsbook site to make the final but they were one of only six teams to have single-digit losses this season. They combined for 24 wins and 24 draws this season. Both teams had double-digit goal differential, and only four teams can make that claim. The teams met twice this season and played to a draw both times with 1-1 and 2-2 final scores.
