Sportsbook Profit Goals at SBG Global

Sportsbook profits are much easier to make if you have a goal. Part of succeeding at a sportsbook is having profit goals both for a day, week, month, and entire season. By setting profit goals and targets you will maintain your overall gambling focus and help stay disciplined in sportsbook wagering.

Sportsbook goals usually begin in your mind. Any time you win a bet at a sportsbook, that profit money is yours. It belongs to you. It is not, as so many ignorant gamblers love to say, the “house’s money” but rather it is your money. And you should act like it, be selfish about it, and never give it back.

Where so many gamblers go wrong at the sportsbook is that they believe any profit money is “free” money that they can “play” with. There is no great statement in stupidity and ignorance in sports gambling than “I am going to play with the house’s money.”

Sports betting shouldn’t be about “playing.” It should be about winning and profits and when you score a win you should really value it at the sportsbook. Victory in sports gambling at the sportsbook is difficult and something to value. And you don’t ever want to give back conquered territory to the sportsbook.

A good and basic way to handle profit goals and money management is to take half of whatever you win at the offshore sportsbook and immediately pocket it. This means if you won $1000 on a game early you would take $500 and keep it, along with the stake money, and then use the other $500 in profits for any future offshore sportsbook wagering activities. That way, you could go 1-1 or even 1-2 and still have made a profit at the sportsbook on the day.

Along those same lines you should also allocate your profits for safekeeping each week and month that you are in action at the sportsbook. Set up goals for the week of an amount that you want to try and win and do the same for the month at the offshore sportsbook. Protect your profits as you keep your eye on the target at the sportsbook. Setting clearly defined goals is a great way to stay on course at the offshore sportsbook and to maintain your discipline and vision.
