Sportsbook Page – Lazio off to their Best Start Ever

Sportsbook Page – Lazio off to their Best Start Ever. You may look at the Series A standings on the sportsbook page and shake your head. Lazio is leading Series A as they are four points ahead of five-time defending champion Inter Milan.  Is Lazio for real?  Can they keep it up against the soccer odds at the offshore sportsbook?

Best Start Ever – Lazio is coming off a 2-1 win against Cagliari on Sunday. They have won six of their first eight matches which is the best start in team history.  Lazio has 19 points with their six wins a loss and a draw. They lead AC Milan by two points and Inter Milan by four points.  The leader in the Series A standings after eight matches has gone on to win the league the last seven years.  That stat is somewhat misleading though since Inter Milan has dominated early, middle and late in Series A.

Inconsistent Inter Milan
Inter Milan has only one loss this season but they have three draws which is why they are stuck in third place in the standings. They got just one point at the San Siro against Sampdoria in their last match.  They actually trailed in the second half but Samuel Eto’o tied the match late.  It is still too early for Milan to panic but the match against Sampdoria did show that they need someone other than Eto’o to score.  Eto’o leads the league in goals but he is not getting much help so far this season and it is costing Milan wins.

Lazio Coach Warns
Lazio head man Edy Reja made news at the sportsbook page as he said that his team is not a title contender even though they lead the Series A standings.  He said that the team is hoping for a finish in the top six.  He said that the team is riding the wave right now but that it is early.
