Sportsbook Injuries Throw AFC Into a Jumble at SBG Global

Sportsbook predictions have had the AFC finishing order pegged for months now. In fact it seemed as though the regular season online sportsbook season would be little more than a formality as the top teams in the conference had already been anointed and sportsbook odds etched in stone. But thanks to a spate of injuries and opening day surprises all of a sudden the hierarchy of this conference seems to be very much in doubt and sportsbook fans can rejoice at the prospect of enlivened competition throughout the online sportsbook season.

Sportsbook experts had already narrowed the season down to a three-horse by the end of spring and many online sportsbook fans seemed to buy into the hype.  The New England Patriots, of course, would repeat as sportsbook studs, running off win after win in a watered down division.

The Colts, as always, would be in the thick of things as the online sportsbook playoffs drew to a close.  And out West the Chargers were perhaps the best team in the world of NFL sportsbook action.  But all of those predictions are now in doubt, as online sportsbook fans saw some crazy things happen in week one of the sportsbook action.

Granted, one week, especially opening week of the NFL sportsbook season, is much too small a sample size to draw any accurate conclusions, but the poor performances by these teams and key injuries to some of the top players in NFL sportsbook action has raised many a question.

Paramount on this list of injuries is of course Tom Brady, the NFL sportsbook MVP from last season.  The Pats’ future is now in limbo and some sportsbook experts have gone so far as to pick them to finish at .500.  The Colts still have their star QB, but their defense is still among the smallest in NLF sportsbook action and looks very bad at times.

And their QB, although recovering still, isn’t 100% and the NFL sportsbook regular season is no place to rehab.  This team looks the best poised of the trio for sportsbook success but it will not come easy.  The Chargers lost on opening day of the NFL sportsbook season to a mediocre Panthers team and looked very bad in the process.

Add to that the disappointing news that LB Shawn Merriman is out for online sportsbook season and fans are already calling for Norm Turner’s job -again.  This could be a long sportsbook season for these early favorites.
