Sportsbook Fans Watch Culpepper Go to UFL

Culpepper is a long-time NFL veteran quarterback but now he will be playing in the UFL. Culpepper will bring some attention at the sportsbook but the UFL still is not very high on the radar of most people. Sportsbook odds might be a little more interesting on the Sacramento Mountain Lions with Culpeppper at quarterback.  He will be playing for his former head coach Dennis Green.

How much Culpepper has left is definitely in question but he should be able to handle the UFL.  He did quite well when he played for Dennis Green in the past.  He threw for 33 touchdowns back in 2000 with Green as his head coach.  He should have decent success with Sacramento since the UFL’s talent level is probably below even that in the CFL.

Culpepper played for the Detroit Lions last season but didn’t play well when he got a chance.  He has thrown for 24,153 yards with 149 touchdowns and 82 interceptions in his career. He also has 2,652 yards rushing and 34 touchdowns on the ground.

UFL odds at the sportsbook will be on the board in September as the league starts their second season of play on September 17th. This year the UFL will have a 10-week, 20 game regular season schedule.  The league is playing in the fall and will be up against high school, college and NFL football so how successful they will be is a huge question.  The season will conclude on the weekend of November 26th-27th.

The UFL schedule in terms of sportsbook odds begins with a rematch of the first championship game as Florida faces Las Vegas. Last season the UFL had many of their games televised on Versus and that will continue this season.  The UFL will have five teams in the league this season with the addition of the Omaha Nighthawks. Omaha starts the season with a bye week and then they will host the Hartford Colonials in their first-ever game at Rosenblatt Stadium on Friday, September 24th. The UFL schedule for sportsbook odds this season will feature four games on Thursday, six games on Friday’s and ten games on Saturday’s.
