Sportsbook F-1 season through the halfway point at SBG Global

Sportsbook F-1 season through the halfway point at SBG Global. Whether you’re an open wheel racing sportsbook fan or a follower of stock cars the online sportsbook action has been fantastic. Sportsbook action has been fast and furious over the past few months in the world of auto racing. In particular the F1 sportsbook season has been as competitive as ever and with the season crossing over the halfway point it seems as the tough the online sportsbook battle to be number one will go to the wire.

Sportsbook fans have come to expect ridiculously close finishes in the F1 online sportsbook competition recently but the past two years have been beyond even the wildest expectation of diehard sportsbook fans. Several factors have combined to create a race atmosphere in F1 sportbook action that is arguably the most competitive that we’ve ever seen in the sport. The retirement of racing great Michael Schumacher from sportsbook competition certainly opened some doors for other drivers to shine -most noticeably Kimi Raikkonen who was hired to replace Schumacher at Ferrari and won the online sportsbook drivers championship last season.

Also rule changes meant to slice into Ferrari’s competitive advantage and make the sportsbook action a more level playing field have done just that. But at the same time nothing should be taken away from the talent crop of young drivers that has emerged in the sportsbook action over the past few years. Led by Fernando Alonso from Spain and Leonard Hamilton of the UK there are a handful drivers in the upper echelon of the F1 sportsbook competition right not that are all more than capable of winning the drivers cup.

So far in the first half of the 2008 sportsbook competition we have seen Hamilton get off to a tremendous start and prove to doubters in the online sporstbook world that his record shattering rookie season was no joke. Currently the leader in the sportsbook driver points, Hamilton looks dead set on winning the sportsbook  F-1 competition this season and bringing the title back to McLaren. He would love nothing more than to vindicate his bosses that they made the right choice in keeping him instead of two-time sportsbook champ, Alonso in their stable.

But Ferrari is not giving up the fight and would love to see Riakkonen and teammate Felipe Massa combined for a one-two finish in the sportsbook standings. Hamilton holds a slim four point lead over Massa and is just seven clear of Riakonnen. But there’s plenty of room for a sporstbook surprise and BMW Robert Kubica has been sharp all season and could look to jump the leader board in the second, at present he’s just ten points back in the sportsbook standings.
