Sportsbook – Big CFL Favorites in Week 10

Sportsbook – Big CFL Favorites in Week 10. The CFL is back with a full schedule of games this week and odds are on the board at the sportsbook for Week 10.  There are some serious favorites in the four games with three double-digit favorites at the sports book.

Sportsbook odds on Week 10 begin on Friday as Montreal hosts British Columbia.  When you look at the line for this game you will think – Montreal rout.  There is just one little problem with that.  The Alouettes will be without starting quarterback Anthony Calvillo.  Yes, Montreal is 6-2 and B.C. is 1-7 so Montreal should win but anytime a team is missing their starting quarterback it is cause for concern.

Calvillo was hurt two weeks ago in a win over Winnipeg. Montreal had a bye last week but Calvillo is still not ready to return.  He said he will miss this game against B.C. but hopes to return for the game on September 11th against Hamilton.

Leak to Start for Montreal – The Alouettes are going with Chris Leak as their starting quarterback on Friday. Yea, you may remember that Leak was the quarterback at Florida when they beat Ohio State in the NCAA title game in 2007.  Leak was 10 of 15 of 99 yards in relief of Calvillo two weeks ago.  He threw only 11 passes last season. Montreal has said they are not going to change their offense much with Leak in the game.

Saskatchewan laying 10.5 to Winnipeg – The Roughriders are laying 10.5 points at home to the Blue Bombers on Sunday at the sports book.  The total on this game is 58.

Labor Day Action – It is Labor Day weekend which means two games for Monday in the CFL.  Calgary is the class of the league right now and they are heavily favored at the Sbg sportsbook to crush Edmonton in the late game. The early game has Hamilton favored by four points at home against Toronto.

Calgary is Very Good – The Stampeders are the class of the CFL right now.  They have scored more points than any other team in the league and allowed the least so it is not a shock that they are 7-1. They are laying 12 points at home to Edmonton on Monday night.
