The Saints got a 3-TD performance from Drew Brees as New Orleans handed Arizona a 31-9 defeat on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Saints were a -12.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 48.0.
Drew Brees completed 34 of 43 pass attempts for 373 yards and 3 TDs for the Saints in the win.
Christian Kirk rushed for 19 yards for Arizona, while Kyler Murray added 13 yards. Kyler Murray threw for 220 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Charles Clay and Christian Kirk had 88 and 79 yards respectively.
Arizona lost the offensive yardage battle to New Orleans 510-237 yards in Sunday's game. New Orleans had more first downs as that total ended up 28-10.
The time of possession battle favored New Orleans as their offense was on the field for 37:59, longer than the 22:01 of their opponents.
Next game, New Orleans takes its act home to face Atlanta looking for another win. For Arizona, they head home to face San Francisco.
