The NFL Draft is on Thursday and the favorite at the online sportsbook to go #1 is Auburn quarterback Cam Newton.

All signs at Sbg global point to Newton going first to the Carolina Panthers.  What about the rest of the first round and the favorites at the sports book to go high?  Which players are likely top picks for Thursday’s NFL Draft?

  1. Carolina Panthers – QB Cam Newton – Auburn – Even though he is a huge risk the Panthers are going to roll the dice and take Newton.
  2. Denver Broncos – DL Marcell Dareus – Alabama – Dareus is the likely pick here for Denver with Von Miller also possible.
  3. Buffalo Bills – OLB Von Miller – Texas A&M – The Bills will take either Miller or Dareus if he is available.
  4. Cincinnati Bengals – WR A.J. Green – Georgia – Sports book reports have the Bengals looking at either Green or Blaine Gabbert.
  5. Arizona Cardinals – CB Patrick Peterson – LSU – The best player in the NFL Draft is Peterson.
  6. Cleveland Browns – DE Robert Quinn – North Carolina – The Browns need help on both sides of the ball.
  7. San Francisco 49ers – DT Nick Fairley – Auburn – Some people at the online sportsbook think the 49ers will go with Gabbert but they seem stuck with Alex Smith.
