Offshore Sportsbook. Vikings vs. Redskins. On late Sunday afternoon, the 4-1 Minnesota Vikings travel to the nation’s capital to take on the Washington Redskins. The game in FedEx Field in Landover, MD, is scheduled to kick off at 4:25 PM ET, with regional coverage provided by FOX.

The Vikings are coming into this game after winning at home over the Tennessee Titans, 30-7. Up 23-0 at the end of three quarters, Minnesota gave up a meaningless touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Vikings held a 433-267 edge in offensive yards, including a 175-52 edge in rushing yards. In their last 3 games, they have held a combined 448-196 edge in rushing yards, while giving up just 11 ppg. QB Christian Ponder threw 25-of-35, for 258 yards, and 2 touchdowns, but also gave up 2 interceptions. This win was the Vikings’ first spread win of the season as the favorite. The Redskins come into this game after suffering a loss at home to the Atlanta Falcons, 24-17. The big news out of that one is the concussion suffered by Skins QB Robert Griffin III. He is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, and, while symptom-free, is not yet cleared for contact or full practice participation. Griffin makes a huge difference for the Skins, as they averaged 31 ppg in their first 4 games of the season. They went from a 27-16 first down edge, to a 28-12 first down deficit against the Falcons.

The Vikings are 0-6 ATS coming off of a double-digit win against an AFC opponent. They are 3-2 ATS on the year, and 1-0 ATS as an away underdog. The Redskins are 10-2 ATS in the week before facing the New York Giants. They are 2-3 ATS overall, and 0-1 ATS as a home favorite. Check the Sportsbook Odds for Vikings vs. Redskins Game.

These two teams have met five times since 2001, with the Vikings winning three of those games. Their last meeting, in December 2011, resulted in a 33-26 Minnesota victory. In that one, the Skins were 6 ½ point favorites. In a November 2010 matchup, the Vikings won 17-13, in a game where the teams were even money.

For this Sunday’s game, no line has been set, due to the uncertainty surrounding RG3’s status. A fair line may favor the Skins, with Griffin behind center, by 2 points at home, but check back with SBG Sportsbook’s football odds page closer to gametime for full limits on this one.
