NFL Sportsbook Preseason Preview of NFC East

NFL Sportsbook Preseason Preview of NFC East. Sportsbook odds makers have been burning the midnight oil trying to sort out the action for the NFL season ahead. With the NFL preseason just weeks ahead there is a buzz in the sportsbook world right now and a myriad of possibility. But anyone trying to handicap the season has their work cut out for them and no division in the NFL sportsbook action is harder to get a grip on than the NFC East.

Sportsbook fans have seen this division evolve into the most difficult division year in and year out. And it’s not just that it’s difficult to try and pick and a clear winner in the sportsbook standings, it’s the fact that all four teams are so talented. The battle for the NFC East is a war of attrition and just making it through the regular season online sportsbook action can feel like two seasons worth of sportsbook action for the teams.

The Giants are the favorites entering the sportsbook season. They’ve won the division two years in a row (quite handily last year) and on paper are the class of this division. However, it will be tough to replace the 6’5” Plaxico Burress on offense and Eli Manning and the offense could struggle in the early part of the sportsbook season until he finds his go to guy downfield. The defense remains strong and the running game is one of the best in the NFL’s online sportsbook action.

The wild card in this division is the Philly Eagles. No team has to suffer through more sportsbook drama than this team and the continuing saga surrounding QB Donovan McNabb seems and unfair but never-ending burden for the team. That said, McNabb is still a top QB in the NFL sportsbook action and with some help at receiver this could be a top offense in the NFL action as well. With rookies Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy added to the mix the Eagles just might win the NFC East online sportsbook title.

The Skins look like they’re still a good QB away from winning the division and despite some talent, ‘pretty good’ won’t be good enough to win the toughest division in the NFL sportsbook action.

The Cowboys shed Terrell Owens, their best player and somehow, from a sportsbook point of view, the move doesn’t much seem like addition by subtraction. Deep divisions in the locker room still remain and the offense will suffer without the talented WR.

The Giants are the defending division champs and anyone who wants the title goes through New York. But expect the unexpected and look for Philly to make a serious run at the online sportsbook title this year.
