Locker to Return for Washington Online Sportsbook

Sportsbook: Locker to Return for Washington Online Sportsbook. Online sportsbook lines on the Washington Huskies will be lower next season with the news that star quarterback Jake Locker is returning for his senior season. Locker would have been a high NFL Draft pick but he decided to come back to Washington for next season.  The Huskies were vastly improved this online sportsbook season and could have a winning year with Locker at the help in 2010 as Internet sportsbook odds indicated.

Online sportsbook stats show that Washington went 5-7 straight up this past season and 7-5 against the odds at the Internet sportsbook.  With Locker returning, the Huskies could possibly have a winning year next Internet sportsbook and make a bowl game. “After a great deal of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided to return to Washington and play my senior year,” Locker said, “I am very excited about this team’s opportunities and potential for the upcoming season and I am looking forward to being a part of it.”

Washington will have nine starters on offense returning next online sportsbook season and eight starters back on defense.  Head coach Steve Sarkisian did a great job in his first year with the Huskies and they should be even better next season. Keep in mind that Washington didn’t even win a game last year and Sarkisian took them to five wins this online sportsbook year. Locker completed 58 percent of his passes for 2,800 yards as online sportsbook stats show. He had 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in addition to rushing for 388 yards and seven touchdowns.  Locker is sixth on the Washington career list with 5,374 career yards as Internet sportsbook stats have it.

Many NFL scouts said that Locker may have been the first quarterback chosen in this year’s NFL Draft ahead of even Colt McCoy and last year’s Heisman winner Sam Bradford.  Online sportsbook info has NFL scouts really liking Locker’s arm strength, size and mobility.  Another year under Sarkisian sure isn’t going to hurt though as long as Locker stays healthy. The only danger would be an injury such as the one suffered by Bradford this season.  Sarkisian did a nice job with USC’s quarterbacks in the past and Sarkisian himself is a former star quarterback from BYU. The Huskies run a pro-style offense which makes Locker’s transition into the NFL a lot easier than other quarterbacks like Tim Tebow face.
