Kentucky is the Only Unbeaten in College Hoops

Kentucky is the Only Unbeaten in College Hoops. The Wildcats routed the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday 101-70 as they easily covered the odds at the online sportsbook. Kentucky is now 19-0 straight up this season and they are 9-8 against the sportsbook odds.

Sportsbook will have Kentucky as the #1 team in the country when the new polls come out on Monday.  The Wildcats were as impressive as ever on Saturday when they dominated Arkansas in online sportsbook results. “I think we would have smashed anyone in the country today.” Kentucky head coach John Calipari said, “That’s not arrogance, but that’s as good as we’ve played for the first 20 minutes. We would have beaten a lot of teams today.”   The sportsbook loss was the worst ever for Arkansas in SEC play.

Kentucky has not been at the top of the polls since 2003-2004 but that is going to change this online sportsbook week.  Head coach John Calipari is the second coach in history to take three schools to a No. 1 ranking.  Kentucky has proven they are a team that has to be one of the online sportsbook favorites to win it all this year in odds at the sportsbook. “They have a chance to be the best team in college basketball this year,” said Arkansas head coach John Pelphrey.

Kentucky has the right coach to win it all. Calipari has proven in the past he knows how to deal with pressure and how to get the most out of a team.  The Wildcats don’t seem too concerned about being #1 right now. “To be No. 1 and undefeated is great, but we want to stay humble and hungry,” said freshman superstar John Wall.  In the sportsbook win against Arkansas, DeMarcus Cousins had 16 points and 14 rebounds, his 10th double-double of the season.

The question at the sportsbook will be how Kentucky responds to being #1. Calipari seems to have his team prepared. “I try to tell them, those seven national titles are not a burden,” he said. “They’re a badge of honor. No. 1 in the country is not a burden. It’s an honor. For us, we’ll see how we respond now.”

Kentucky’s first sportsbook test will be at South Carolina on Tuesday where they are favored in sportsbook odds against the Gamecocks.
