Jimmie Johnson AP Male Athlete of the Year Sportbook Online

Jimmie Johnson AP Male Athlete of the Year Sportbook Online. Sportbook online odds have Jimmie Johnson favored at lot in NASCAR odds. He gained some offshore sportsbook recognition on Monday as he won the Associated Press Award for Male Athlete of the Year. Johnson is the first NASCAR driver to win four straight titles and he has dominated the sport in recent sportbook online years.

Sportbook  online had Johnson getting 42 votes while Roger Federer finished second with 30 votes. Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt was third with 29 votes. Tiger Woods received only nine votes as sportbook online stats showed and was tied with Kobe Bryant and Albert Pujols.

Johnson is the first race car driver ever to win the award in the 78 years it has been given out. Johnson is now getting the sportbook online attention he deserves. “We’d been wondering the last few years, ‘When is this going to hit?” Johnson said. “It seems like the answer is now. The wave is finally peaking, and we don’t know where it’s going to take us. The fourth-straight title takes it out of our sport and makes it a point of discussion — like, ‘Wow, a race car driver won this thing.”

When the Chase for the Sprint Cup started, Johnson took off in sportbook online results. He won four races during the regular part of the offshore sportsbook season but in the Chase he was simply dominant, finishing out of the Top 10 only once. He took the title, beating teammate Mark Martin by 141 points as offshore sportsbook stats showed. Johnson has always believed that race car drivers are athletes and this award proves his point. “I’ve looked at other sports, particularly baseball, and I’ve seen plenty of out-of-shape, fat players,” said Johnson, “So to anyone who wants to go head-to-head with me in athletic ability, let’s go. I talked a lot with Jason Sehorn about this, and I don’t know how exactly you measure athletic ability, but I know my 5-mile run time will destroy most NFL players.”

Johnson is not done yet either. He will be a major force in sportbook online odds at the offshore sportsbook this season. He believes he can win a fifth straight title. He signed a five-year deal to drive for Hendrick through 2015 so he is not going anywhere anytime soon. “The cool thing,” Johnson said, “is we’re not done yet.”
