Jason Terry Returns to Bench for Dallas

Jason Terry Returns to Bench for Dallas.  Online sportsbook odds on the Dallas Mavericks could be impacted now that Dallas has Caron Butler. The Mavericks are leading their division but they are not considered a serious sportsbook threat to the Lakers in the Western Conference.  Online sportsbook has the addition of Butler meaning that Jason Terry will be going back to the bench.

Online sportsbook has seen Terry do very well in the starting lineup for the Mavericks but he is better suited to coming off the bench.  He won the Sixth Man of the Year award last sportsbook season.  Terry did not seem to upset by the move back to coming off the bench. “I’ve been there,” Terry said, “Why would you make a guy like that come in and make a huge adjustment? He’s already making an adjustment to a new city. We want to make him as comfortable as we can to make the process as smooth as we can.”

Terry is a major part of the Dallas offense as he is averaging 17.1 points per game as online sportsbook stats have it, “I’m ready, so coming back off the bench is not going to be a problem for me because now I feel like I’m in rhythm.” Terry said, “We’ll see how it goes, but I’ll do whatever this team needs me to do to be successful. I believe that for the better of our team with Caron now, that’s to come off the bench.”

Sportsbook has the Mavericks hoping to be improved with Butler in the starting lineup.  Online sportsbook stats indicated that it is likely that Butler will get some playing time at small forward and at shooting guard. Terry believes the best lineup will have him in the lineup with Butler, Dirk Nowitzki, Shawn Marion and Jason Kidd. “You’ve got to believe our best lineup is going to be us three out there together with Dirk and Jason Kidd,” Terry said. “That’s going to be the lineup that maybe finishes a lot of games.”

The big key for those that follow the NBA at the online sportsbook is how the Mavericks do versus the spread.  So far this season they have been a bust, going 21-31 against the sportsbook odds.  They could be improved with the addition of Butler and that might make them a team worth following in NBA odds at the online sportsbook.
