Florida State’s Bowden to Retire Sportbooks Online

Florida State’s Bowden to Retire Sportbooks Online.  Sportsbooks online will get only one more chance to post odds on Florida State with Bobby Bowden as head coach. The Seminoles head coach will end his 44-year coaching career after Florida State’s bowl game while will occur late this month or early next month.  It is likely that the Seminoles will be a popular choice at the offshore sportsbook in Bowden’s last game.

Sportsbooks online stats show that Bowden will retire with the second most wins in college football history behind Penn State’s Joe Paterno. “We’ve got one more game and I look forward to enjoying these next few weeks as the head football coach,” Bowden said. Florida State was great in the 1990’s in sportsbook online action but they have been nothing special the last decade.  Florida State won national titles in 1993 and 1999.  Since that time Florida State has become just an average football team in sportsbooks online action.

The new head coach at Florida State will be offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher.  It was announced a couple of years ago in sportsbooks online news that Fisher would be the head coach when Bowden stepped down.  Fisher will take the reigns for next sportsbooks online season.

It is very possible that Florida State will be playing in the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville in sportsbooks online odds on January 1st or in the Champs Sports Bowl on December 29th.  Bowden is trying to get his last game to be in the state of Florida.  It is amazing a team that is 6-6 gets any say in where they go in terms of a bowl. Florida State is lucky to be going to a bowl at all and that tells the real problem the Seminoles have had in recent sportsbooks online seasons under Bowden. They are just an average team or below average sportsbooks online team in the ACC.  Since 2001 the Seminoles are 47-25 in ACC games. They were 70-2 in the conference from 1992-2000.

Florida State went 6-6 straight up this season but they were a pathetic 3-9 against the sportsbooks online odds at the offshore sportsbook.  The Seminoles were 0-6 against the sportsbooks online spread at home this season at the offshore sportsbook.  Bowden may have been a great coach in the past but the reality is that his teams have been a good go-against at the offshore sportsbook in recent seasons.
