CFL Week 6 Odds at most Sportsbook Websites

CFL Odds for Week #6 are up at the sportsbook sites with the action kicking off on Friday as Saskatchewan visits Montreal and Edmonton hosts Toronto. The game between Saskatchewan and Montreal is a revenge game for the Alouettes as they lost the season opener 54-51 to the Roughriders.  Montreal is a 5.5 point home favorite in CFL odds at the offshore sports books.

Sportsbook site odds on the other game on Friday have Edmonton as a five-point favorite vs. Toronto with the total at 51.5.  The matchup between Saskatchewan and Montreal pits two 4-1 teams against each other. The Alouettes have not lost since the season opener against the Roughriders. They look like the best team in the league against this season with a potent offense.  The defense has also looked better in recent weeks after their debacle against Saskatchewan in the opener when they gave up 54 points. Odds makers expect a high scoring game as the total is 60.5 on this week’s game.

Toronto was put in their place last week as they were routed by Montreal. They will try and bounce back this week against the Eskimos.  This is a huge game for the Argonauts as they need to prove that their 3-2 start is not a fluke. The odds makers at the offshore sportsbook are not sold on Toronto as they are 5-point dogs at Edmonton.

Saturday’s CFL action has Hamilton hosting Winnipeg and Calgary at British Columbia.  The Tiger-Cats are 2.5 point home favorites against Winnipeg with a total of 54 while Calgary is a 3-point favorite at B.C. with a total of 48.5. The Stampeders have the top defense in the league and it has led them to a 4-1 start.  The offense looked better last week as Henry Burris threw for 340 yards. B.C. has struggled all season and this game against Calgary is almost a must-win or their season could totally fall apart.

The matchup between Hamilton and Winnipeg could go either way but Hamilton is at home and they need to find a way to win this game and get back into the playoff chase.  Hamilton’s defense has been terrible so far this season and they are going to get tested this week by a Winnipeg offense that is third in the league in points scored.
