Buffalo Trying to get Shanahan Sports books

Sports books have seen the Buffalo Bills struggle white a bit this season. The Bills are trying to change things though as they have contacted former Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan. The Bills are trying to do anything that will help them for the future because this season is done as Internet sportsbook stats show.

Sports books had Shanahan meeting with Buffalo Bills chief operating office Russ Brandon on Tuesday.  The meeting went well and Shanahan left encouraged about the Bills. “We had an excellent meeting,” Shanahan said, “I was really impressed with Russ Brandon and everything he had to say. We’re going to stay in touch and see what develops.”

There is no question that Shanahan is going to be somewhere next NFL Internet sportsbook season.  He could end up with the Bills and that might improve their chances versus the sports books odds.  Buffalo fired head coach Dick Jauron last Internet sportsbook week and named defensive coordinator Perry Fewell the interim coach. It is obvious that Fewell has no chance of continuing as head coach though next sports books season, so the Bills will be looking for a big name.  Shanahan is a big name but whether he is worth the price is up for debate at sports books.  Shanahan was successful a long time ago as sports books have it when he won two Super Bowls but he had John Elway back then.  He has done very little in the last decade and was run out of Denver.  Sports books have Shanahan with just one playoff victory in the last ten years.  In fact, sports books stats show that Shanahan has lost half of his last 48 games.  He missed the playoffs three years in a row as Internet sportsbook results show.  He simply looked out of touch.  Has anything changed since he left?  It seems unlikely he will suddenly find his way.

Sports books info has Shanahan looking for big money and although the Bills could pay him, they may be better off looking elsewhere with some other head coach options.  Buffalo has already been rejected by Bill Cowher so they may end up overpaying for Shanahan just so they become relevant at sports books again. The Terrell Owens experiment didn’t work as odds at sports books show so now they will look to try something else to gain attention.
