Are Steelers out of Sportsbook NFL Season? at SBG Global

Sportsbook pundits, just a few weeks again were wondering if the Pittsburgh Steelers might not be the best team in the NFL. But after some very ugly play in recent games and having lost two of their last three offshore sportsbook match ups, have the wheels fallen off the wagon in Pittsburgh?  Not likely, but this team, at this exact moment in the sportsbook season has some big problems.

Sportsbook fans will witness, in the next few weeks, exactly what kind of team this squad really is.  When it plays without mistakes it can beat anyone in the NFL sportsbook odds.  But when it doesn’t, we’ve all seen its vulnerabilities and even making the offshore sportsbook playoffs could be in jeopardy if the ship is righted.  Granted, this team has been as plagued by injuries as any in sportsbook odds, but injuries are a fact of life in the NFL and are hardly an excuse for the team’s recent offshore sportsbook losses.

Sloppy play, rather than lack of talent, has beaten the Steelers of late and with the Baltimore Ravens breathing down the team’s neck in the sportsbook conference standings this little room for error for the Steelers.  After charging out to a large lead in the early offshore sportsbook standings the Steelers have seen their AFC North lead evaporate, and the squad now has a 6-3 record, identical to their rivals from Baltimore.

The problems are obvious for this team: poor running, poor blocking and poor QB play.  But the sportsbook solutions aren’t that easy.  Big Ben has played well at times this season, but in the team’s recent losses he has been at fault.  After apparently breaking down after the most recent loss, according to many offshore sportsbook website accounts, perhaps the loss will be a turning point.  After hurling interception after interception and letting the defense dig the team out of the hole he’d built, perhaps now he’ll realize the importance of taking care of the ball in sportsbook match ups.

But if he’s not up to the task, backup QB Byron Leftwich has shown he’s more than capable of picking up the slack.  He led the team to a sportsbook win on the road over a very good Redskins team and made Big Ben’s performance look awful in the process.  The problem is that Leftwhich doesn’t know the offense and it’s uncertain if he could keep a defense on its toes for four quarters of a sportsbook match up.  He’s also not without his problems, primarily telegraphing passes with his windup.

But Pittsburgh is certainly capable of salvaging its season and the awful loss to Indy in last week’s sportsbook action might just be the wake up call it needed.
