Texas Tech to Start Redshirt Freshman at QB Internet Sports Betting

Internet sports betting on Texas Tech could be interesting this week as they face the Kansas Jayhawks since the Red Raiders will be starting a freshman quarterback.

Seth Doege is expected to get the start in this offshore sports betting contest on Saturday. Internet sports betting had Texas Tech as a 6.5 point favorite with a total of 67 in their game against Kansas. Last week in Internet sports betting action it was Texas Tech losing to Texas A&M 52-30.  In the offshore sports betting game, Doege was 18 for 25 for 146 yards in relief of starting quarterback Taylor Potts who threw two interceptions and lost a fumble. “I thought he made routine plays and I thought he didn’t try to make too much happen,” Leach said about Doege. “He has a good arm and he is a sharp guy.”  The Red Raiders may have chosen junior quarterback Steven Sheffield but he has a foot injury and is out.

In other Internet sports betting college football news, Florida quarterback Tim Tebow and Texas quarterback Colt McCoy are two of the 16 finalists for the Campbell Trophy. That is the award that goes to the top senior scholar-athlete in college football as Internet sports betting notes. The winner of that award gets $25,000 in scholarship money. The other finalists for that award as Internet sports betting indicates are Illinois guard Jon Asamoah; BYU linebacker Matt Bauman; Minnesota receiver Eric Decker who is injured, Baylor linebacker Joe Pawelek; Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing, Fresno State safety Moses Harris; Western Michigan quarterback Tim Hiller, Brown defensive tackle Paul Jasinowski; Morningside College receiver Beau Kildow; Hardin-Simmons receiver Zavious Robbins; Augustana College Blaine Westemeyer; West Virginia linebacker Reed Williams, Northern Iowa linebacker Josh Mahoney and Tusculum tight end Jarrell NeSmith.  Internet sports betting had the award being given out in New York in December.

Other offshore sports betting college football news had the Chick-fil-A Bowl and the ACC agreeing on a four-year extension that will keep Internet sports betting game at the Georgia Dome. Internet sports betting had the bowl getting the first pick of ACC teams after the BCS selections. This new deal runs through the 2013 Internet sports betting season. The Chick-fil-A Bowl will be played on Dec. 31 and be on the Internet sports betting board. It matches an ACC team against an SEC team in offshore sports betting numbers.
