Sports Betting Schedule About to Heat Up at SBG Global

Once the calendar page flips to the eighth month the sports betting action kicks in and its non-stop in the sportsbetting world for the next nine months. Sportsbetting is one of the truly great sporting past times.  The summer months are admittedly the slowest season for sportsbetting enthusiasts but with the July drawing to a close and August fast approaching the meat of the sports betting lineup is just around the corner.  Sportsbetting, like many activities, fall victim to the summer doldrums between the months of July and August.

With much of the world on holiday or simply enjoy the beautiful summer weather, the news cycle, the stock market, and many other forums grind to a dull pace.  But fortunately for sports betting that slower cycle is short-lived and the sportsbetting fans are well rewarded when the action picks back up again in mid-August.

This year sports betting fans have it especially good as there was virtually no slow-down in the action.  With the Euro Cup played in June between PGA and Tennis Majors and the Olympic games sporting action starting up in early August there really wasn’t much down time in the sportsbetting this year at all.  August 8th is the start date for the Beijing games for the next two weeks the sportsbetting world will be glued to the international sporting action there.

Shortly after the Olympics end the final PGA Major, the PGA Championship will be held.  And by the then the college football season will be well underway and the sportsbetting hordes will frothing at the mouth.  Shortly thereafter the NFL sportsbetting begins along with the European soccer leagues; and then, in the not too distant future the NBA sports betting, then the college basketball sportsbetting and before you know it the 2008 sportsbetting season is history and the NFL playoffs have already begun.

But there is plenty of meaty sportsbetting activities still on the schedule before any of that happen.  The Olympics, for one, should be a very memorable activity.  Not only is it the first major global event -sporting or otherwise- hosted by the sleeping giant China, it should be one of the most competitive games in sportsbetting history.  With China looking very strong on its home turf it will be looking to wrest the mantle of Olympic champ from the US.

Auto racing is also just hitting high gear and with the F1 circuit heading into the second half of the season and NASCAR’s sports betting post season just weeks away, there is something for everyone on the sports betting agenda.
