If the power teams like Kansas, Kentucky, Syracuse, Purdue and others win their conference tournaments it will open up sports betting spots for bubble teams. It is those conference tournaments where upsets occur that really hurt the bubble teams.
There are some teams that have no choice now but to win their conference tournament to get in. A team like Seton Hall was in the bubble discussion in sports betting online but has faded. Cincinnati and South Florida are two other Big East teams that have moved off the bubble into probably being left out. The Atlantic 10 might be the most interesting conference of bubble teams. They have as many as five teams that could be in the sports betting online discussion. Those that need to win out though could be Dayton, Charlotte, Saint Louis and Rhode Island.
Saint Mary’s and William & Mary are two other teams that have probably fallen off the bubble and into serious sportsbetting trouble. This past weekend’s BracketBuster games really hurt a lot of teams when it comes to making the NCAA Tournament. Those teams that you may not have heard of in sports betting online like Siena and Northeastern pretty much had their at-large chances end this past week. They will now need to win their conference tournaments.
