The Washington Capitals have the most points in the NHL with 90 and they lead the Eastern Conference. San Jose has the most points in the Western Conference with 89. The Capitals have a huge lead in the East as they lead New Jersey by 13 points so it is likely they will end up with the top seed. The rest of the seeds are up for grabs in sports betting in the East. New Jersey is just a point ahead of Ottawa and Pittsburgh and just two ahead of Buffalo.

Nashville is in 7th and they are just two points ahead of Calgary. The West is far from decided at the bottom in Internet sports betting as Dallas and Detroit are just one point out of a playoff spot behind Calgary. Anaheim is just two points back while St. Louis is four back. Minnesota is five points back and even Columbus is not out of it in sports betting at nine points back.
