Sports Betting Companies – Mediocrity Good Enough for Jaguars

Sports Betting Companies – Mediocrity Good Enough for Jaguars.  The Jacksonville Jaguars have been just a .500 team the past few seasons both straight up and against the spread at sports betting companies.

I guess that is good enough because head coach Jack Del Rio is coming back for another year of mediocrity.  The Jaguars were 8-8 this past season and just like past seasons, sometimes they were worth considering in sportsbetting while sometimes they were not.

Del Rio 66-65 with Jacksonville
The Jaguars finished this past season at 8-8 but it was an ugly .500 mark because Jacksonville lost their last three games.  They had a chance to win the AFC South but lost all of their key games down the stretch.  And that is nothing new under Del Rio. The Jaguars almost always lose key games in sports betting with him as head coach. Last year they blew their final four games of the season and in the last three years the team is 4-11 in the months of December and January.  Get used to more losing when it counts for Jacksonville against the odds at sports betting companies.  Del Rio is the first coach since the NFL merger in 1970 to lead a team for eight years without winning a division title.

Fans are Done
Is there any reason that fans in Jacksonville should come to the games?  It is easy to see why the Jaguars were having games blacked out.  Jacksonville simply doesn’t have the leadership to win a division.  It starts with ownership and trickles down from there.  If an owner is not willing to make a chance then he is satisfied with mediocrity.  Jacksonville owner Wayne Weaver is telling the fans that going .500 and just being competitive is good enough. It is a sad message to be sending to the fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars who are fed up with the team’s performances.  With Del Rio coming back there is no reason to believe that will change in 2011.  In 2006, 2009 and this past season, the Jaguars had a chance to make the playoffs only to choke at the end.  In 2006 the team lost their final three games to miss the playoffs and last season they lost their final four games to miss out.  And this year they did it again.  And what did Weaver do?  He is bringing Del Rio back for more of the same.
