Sports betting NFL odds list the Washington Redskins as longshots to win the Super Bowl but the team has made some changes that should improve their chances. Whether or not signing Rex Grossman was one of them is up for debate but it has gotten some sports betting online attention.

Washington hired Mike Shanahan as head coach in the off-season and they are looking to improve their roster. Grossman could do well with Washington since he will be working with offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, who was with Houston last year.

The problem for Grossman is that he has even more interceptions in his career as he has thrown 36. Grossman led the Chicago Bears to the Super Bowl just a few years ago but he has not done much since. He left Chicago as a free agent and spent last year in Houston.

The NFL Draft should provide some clues as to what Washington is thinking for the future. They need a quarterback to lead them for this season and beyond. If they don’t take a quarterback in the first round then they may have to rely upon Campbell or Grossman and that is not a pleasant thought if you are backing the Redskins.
