Sports betting on the Toronto Raptors could look different in 2009-2010 as the team has made a number of changes. A reported trade has the team sending Carlos Delfino and Roko Ukic to Milwaukee for Amir Johnson and Sonny Weems. Online sports betting told us that Delfino played in Russia last season but the Raptors retained his rights.

Sports betting on Toronto could see the Raptors improved in 2009-2010 as the team made a number of off-season moves. They really didn’t have a spot for Delfino considering they have three other players the picked up who could play shooting guard or small forward. They already have Marco Belinelli, Antoine Wright and DeMar DeRozan who was their first round pick. Online sports betting tells us that the trade could be good for both teams since Toronto could use Johnson as a backup power forward while Milwaukee could put Delfino to use as a backup guard.

The Raptors have already made changes that could impact their odds in sports betting. They picked up Hedo Turkoglu, Jarrett Jack and Reggie Evans to go along with DeRozan, Wright and Evans. The Raptors also re-signed Andrea Bargnani to a five-year contract extension as online betting information shows.

The Raptors are looking at Johnson as a player that could really help them. He didn’t get a lot of playing time with the Bucks as sports betting statistics tells us, but could see more with Toronto. He averaged 3.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1 block in 14.7 minutes per game last season with Milwaukee as sports betting statistics indicated. On the other side of this sports betting trade is Delfino who has averaged 5.8 points and 17.1 minutes per game in four seasons in the NBA.

Online sports betting had all of these off-season moves that Toronto has made being critical since the team is hoping to convince Chris Bosh to re-sign with the team after this season. Toronto was really a disappointment a year ago in online sports betting as they were expected to contend in the Eastern Conference.

Toronto is a 75-1 longshot in sports betting at the online sportsbook to win the 2009-2010 NBA title. The problem for Toronto in the Eastern Conference is that they still have to deal with Cleveland and Boston and both of those teams also look improved heading into this season.
