Sports betting fans and experts alike know that there is no quicker way to reverse a struggling team’s sportsbetting fortunes that drafting a talented QB.
But that’s easier said than done and with this year’s relative lack of depth sportsbetting analysts are not all that high this group of players. With only one sportsbetting consensus top pick among this year’s QBs sports betting fans may have to look elsewhere for a potential savior.
Sportsbetting fans have seen time and time again as a young QB comes into the league and takes their team from hero to zero in no time. This year the only player that has sportsbetting fans and sports betting analysts drooling is Boston College’s Matt Ryan. And as good as Ryan is, he’s hardly drawing any references to Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.
Ryan is a very solid prospect and easily the best sportsbetting QB in the group but his success is far from guaranteed. In fact, the opinion on Ryan is so varied that some sportbetting projections have him being taken anywhere from number one overall all the way to mid twenties. He had a decent senior year with little help from his supporting cast and sport betting experts have been pleased with his workout numbers. In all likelihood, he’ll be taken in the top ten and have a chance to compete in the sports betting right away.
After Ryan the top prospect is likely Brian Brohm from Louisville and player who was oft injured but put up some fine numbers at the college sports betting level. He has the best accuracy and throws the best deep ball of the class, but can’t scramble to save his life, which many sports betting analysts don’t care for. But then again, when was the last time a sportsbetting fan saw Manning or Brady scramble?
The wild card in this year’s sports betting QB talent pool is Joe Flacco from Delaware. A giant in the pocket (6’7) he comes from small school competition but has a lot of great traits that sports betting experts have been drooling over. He’ll likely be one of the top five QBs drafted and many sportsbetting fans think he could be the best QB in the group.
