Online sports betting had seen the Pac-10 really struggle this season in college basketball. In fact it is so bad that it is possible only one team from the conference could make the NCAA Tournament. There are four teams that are 4-3. Mediocrity in the Pac-10 is simply not going to be impressive to the NCAA Tournament committee. UCLA, a traditional power, has a losing record.
The only team that has a shot at an at-large bid if they don’t win the Pac-10 tournament is California. They have a strong RPI but the online sports betting problem for California is that they have played most of their games at home. Six of their next eight in offshore sports betting odds are on the road. They could easily fall right out of the at-large picture.
Arizona State is somewhat in the online sports betting picture but they have a poor RPI and losing at home to Arizona is bad. Washington has a losing conference record while Washington State is .500. The rest of the Pac-10 has no shot at getting an at-large bid.
