Online Sports Betting Preseason Plays

Online sports betting for the 2009 NFL preseason should be exciting. There are some excellent sportsbetting trends to consider as you look at NFL preseason action.  Here are some of the best online betting wagers.

Online betting should be popular on the Vikings as they play Indianapolis in the preseason.  The Colts have been a major bust in online sports betting the past few seasons.  They have lost their last eight preseason games.  There is one thing to remember about this online sports betting player though.  Tony Dungy is gone now and Jim Caldwell takes over. Dungy never put much stock in the preseason and sportsbetting gamblers don’t know anything about Caldwell yet in the preseason.

The Hall of Fame Game opens up the online betting preseason at the online sportsbook.  Sportsbetting players might want to take a look at the under as the Bills have played eight straight games under the online sports betting total when on the road.

The first week of the online betting preseason has Dallas at Oakland and the Cowboys are 4-0 both straight up and against the spread versus the Raiders since 2001.  The Broncos play the 49ers in Week 1 online sports betting and the Broncos have owned the 49ers recently going 9-1 straight up and 9-1 against the sportsbetting spread.

Week 2 in online sports betting has the Chiefs at Minnesota and Kansas City is 1-9 against the online betting pointspread in their last 10 preseason road games.  Keep in mind though that Kansas City has a new head coach in Todd Haley so those numbers could change.  Also in Week 2 it is Tampa at Jacksonville and the Bucs are 0-6 in their last six preseason games against the Jags at the sportsbook. The Giants and Bears could play an interesting game this week as well.  The Giants have gone under the total in eight of their last nine road games while the Bears are 2-12 versus the online sportsbook number.

In Week 3 it is San Francisco at Dallas and the 49ers are 3-7-1 against the online sportsbook number in their last 11 road games.  Also in week 3 the Giants and Jets have gone under in their last eight meetings in the preseason.

Week 4 has the Eagles and Jets and the Eagles have lost 10 of the last 11 preseason meetings.
