The Premiere League season ends on Sunday and although the title has been decided there is a lot at stake in online sports betting.
Arsenal and Manchester City are in a fight for third place while anything could happen at the bottom of the table in regards to relegation. Here is a look at the offshore sports betting matchups in the Premier League on Sunday.
Manchester City at Bolton and Arsenal at Fulham
It all comes down to one match for Manchester City as they try and finish in third place ahead of Arsenal. City is one point ahead of Arsenal for third place and that is critical as the third place team does not have to deal with a playoff to get into next season’s Champions League. Both Manchester City and Arsenal are on the road and neither has an easy game but City is playing so well it is hard to see them losing against Bolton.
Five teams are fighting to avoid relegation so much of the offshore sports betting attention will be on Blackburn, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Blackpool and Wigan. West Ham is already assured of finishing in last place so they are one of the teams being relegated. Two of the other five will also not be in next year’s Premier League. Just one point separates the five teams so anything is possible on Sunday. Blackburn is at Wolverhampton in one of the key matches. If the match ends in a draw it could be that both teams will be safe. The loser of this match could be in trouble. The Wolves are playing well and they are at home so they should at least get a draw. Birmingham could be one of the teams headed for relegation as they are at Tottenham. They have lost four of their last five overall vs. the odds at Sbg global and there is not much to like about them on the road at Tottenham. Blackpool has to play at Manchester United and they need at least a draw to have a chance to avoid relegation. It is not out of the question since United has nothing to play for since they have clinched the league title. Even playing against United’s reserves it won’t be easy for Blackpool but it is not hopeless. Wigan also needs at least a draw in online sports betting to have a chance as they are at Stoke City. Wigan definitely has a shot since Stoke has nothing to play for.
