Online Sports Betting Odds Favor Tiger in Buick Open

Online sports betting odds favor Tiger Woods in the Buick Open that gets underway on Thursday, July 30th.Woods used to play in the Buick Open on a regular basis but has not played since 2006.  With the news that he will be in the field, the sportsbetting odds at the sportsbook now favor Woods.

Online betting odds almost always favor Tiger whenever he is entered in an event.  Woods is so heavily favored in sportsbetting at the sports book that the value oftentimes is on the other golfers in the event.  The problem with taking another golfer in online betting odds is that Woods usually wins.  He is coming off missing the cut at the British Open so you know Woods will be focused to play well in the Buick Open.

Woods has played in the Buick Open a total of eight times and has never finished lower than 11th in online sports betting results.  He won in online betting odds twice, 2002 and 2006. “We are very fortunate and honored the world’s number one-ranked player has decided to play the Buick Open,” said Larry Peck, national promotions manager for Buick-GMC, “There is no doubt Tiger brings an elevated excitement level to Warwick Hills whenever he plays and we are delighted to share the news with Michigan fans.”

Other players on the online betting board this week at the sportsbook are David Duval, Billy Mayfair and Boo Weekley.  Of those three only Weekley is likely to get much attention in sportsbetting.  Other golfers in the online sports betting field are Stuart Appleby, Chad Campbell, Andres Romero, Rory Sabbatini and Nick Watney.  Getting some attention in online sports betting odds will be U.S. Open champion Lucas Glover and past Buick Open winners Justin Leonard, Jim Furyk, Scott Verplank, Tom Pernice Jr. and Brad Faxon.  Rocco Mediate is another player that might get a look in online sports betting odds.  Former winner Woody Austin is another golfer on the sportsbetting odds board in addition to Charles Howell and Chris DiMarco. Austin won the tournament in 1995 and finished tied for second last year as online sports betting results show. Kenny Perry won last year but had to pull out so he can be with his mother as she fights blood cancer.  Former winners Jim Furyk, Justin Leonard, Brad Faxon and Scott Verplank are on the online sports betting board as well.
