Online Sport Betting Favre to Play First Half on Monday

Online sport betting has Brett Favre set to play the first half on Monday when the Minnesota Vikings face the Houston Texans in preseason action. The Texans are 3-point sportbetting favorites on Monday with a total of 41. Online betting could be popular on the Vikings with Favre this season. Minnesota is considered a Super Bowl contender in online betting and Favre is a big reason why. Minnesota head coach Brad Childress is getting Favre ready as quickly as possible and that means playing him for a full half on Monday night.

Childress has said that the starters will play the first half as online betting indicated and it is important for Favre to develop chemistry with them. “He’s doing everything he needs to do to get up to speed,” Childress said. “(I’m) confident we’ve got the type (of team) and distance to be able to do that.”

Online betting has the question for Favre not being the offense since it is nearly the same as the one he ran in Green Bay. The focus is on timing with his receivers. Normally in online sport betting in the preseason the starters play into the third quarter in the third game and then not much in the finale. That might not be the case with Minnesota in online sport betting since Favre needs extra work. The Vikings preseason finale in online sport betting is September 4th against the Cowboys so it will be interesting to see how much time the starters play in that sportbetting contest.

Online sport betting has Favre throwing only a certain amount each day. The Vikings are still concerned about his partially torn rotator cuff and want to limit his throws. “I think you just have to be careful, particularly when you’re just starting, that there’s not too many throws. … When guys come back it’s not like they break ’em off,” Childress said. “So it’s more managing. I’m not going to put a number on that for you, but we have a pretty good idea.”

Childress is basically putting his job in the hands of Favre this sportbetting season. If the Vikings are a bust and don’t make the playoffs most online sport betting experts believe Childress will be fired. The Vikings are three-point favorites in online sport betting in their regular season NFL betting opener at Cleveland on September 13th. Minnesota is 8-1 in Super Bowl sportbetting odds at the sportsbook.
