Sports betting excitement on the 2010 NFL season begins with NBC televising the season opener on Thursday, September 9th as the Minnesota Vikings travel to the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints for a rematch of the NFC Championship. NBC has some great games for Sunday night including that special Thursday night opener that should get a lot of online sports betting attention.

Sports betting on Sunday night games are always followed by fans since it is the last game on Sunday.  The first Sunday night game will feature Donovan McNabb’s regular season debut with the Washington Redskins as they host the Dallas Cowboys.  The next week is another super matchup as the Manning brothers face off as the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning host the New York Giants and Eli Manning. The other Sunday Night NBC game in the month of September has two AFC East rivals doing battle as the Miami Dolphins host the New York Jets.

Sunday Night Football in October begins on October 3rd as Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears visit the New York Giants.  The next week it is the Philadelphia Eagles at San Francisco to play the 49ers.  Washington and McNabb get another Sunday night game as on October 17th the Redskins host the Indianapolis Colts.  The game on October 24th will be wildly popular in sports betting if Brett Favre returns to play this season. His Viking go to Lambeau to play the Packers. The last game in October has the Pittsburgh Steelers visiting the New Orleans Saints.

The first Sunday night game on NBC in November has the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Green Bay Packers. The next week the Pittsburgh Steelers host the New England Patriots.  November 21st is the first week when NBC can change the Sunday night game if they so desire. The current schedule has the New York Giants at the Philadelphia Eagles for that night. The next three weeks probably won’t be changed but you never know in online sports betting.  November 28th has San Diego at Indianapolis; December 5th has Pittsburgh at Baltimore while December 12th it is Philadelphia at Dallas.  The December 19th game also looks good as Green Bay is at New England.  The December 26th game has San Diego at Cincinnati while the game on Sunday, January 2nd will be determined at a later date.
