Online sports betting handicappers will have to evaluate the “pain factor” for Eli Manning and the New York Giants this week in their sportsbetting matchup with Oakland. Online sports betting fans may have first thought that the Giants would have an easy sportsbetting payoff against the Raiders but Manning will have to play in pain on Sunday.

Eli Manning has been diagnosed with inflamed tissue in his right foot following an MRI. His current online sports betting status is “probable.” The Giants team doctor said that Manning could play in this week’s online sports betting matchup if he could tolerate the pain.

Manning himself seems ready for online sports betting action this Sunday

“It’s not as serious an injury as (the doctor) has seen before, where it’s the whole foot that’s hurting,” said Manning. “It’s just kind of a portion of it.”

The official terminology of Manning’s problem is plantar fasciitis, which causes swelling and soreness in the heel and arch of the bottom of his foot.

Manning should be able to play in future online sports betting matchups by taking cortisone injections and taping the foot.

It is a nervous time for sportsbetting handicappers as the Giants would have to play David Carr at quarterback if Manning is unable to see online sports betting action.

Manning is off to a great start to the sportsbetting season with a quarterback rating of 104.0. Manning has thrown for 1039 yards, completed 63% of his passes, and has an 8/2 touchdown to interception ratio to rank as one of the elite quarterbacks in all of online sports betting.

The Giants have an online sports betting record of 4-0 straight up and 3-0-1 against the spread. The Giants scored a 27-16 online sports betting win at Kansas City last Sunday as 9.5-point chalks. They will be prohibitive online sports betting favorites this Sunday against the Raiders.

Manning hurt his foot last Sunday while making a play action fake as when he planted his foot to throw he hopped up in pain as he threw an incomplete pass.

Manning has started 82 consecutive games for the Giants.
