Sportsbetting is going to have Danica Patrick on the NASCAR betting board next season as she will be in the Nationwide Series. Patrick has been in the IndyCar Series in sportsbetting and she will continue in that series but now will also be with JR Motorsports. That means she will be getting NASCAR sports betting online attention.
Sportsbetting is expected to feature Patrick on the board for the February 6th ARCA race at Daytona International Speedway. Sports betting online indicated that she will be racing in a green and orange Chevrolet with GoDaddy.com as her main sponsor. “We’ve all been working very hard for some time now to bring this all together,” Patrick said. “There’s much relief there, but I’m starting to get a little bit nervous that now it’s time to do my part of the deal and get out there in these cars and perform. It’s no doubt going to be challenging.”
Patrick will still be on the sportsbetting board in IndyCar since she signed an extension with Andretti Autosport. Now she will be on the NASCAR sportsbetting board as she will race for a team owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Rick Hendrick. “I think (NASCAR) is something we’re going to try to do before and after the IndyCar season, but we will look at some options,” she said.
The sportsbetting schedule for Danica Patrick has not been determined but she will get some sports betting online attention in NASCAR’s second series. “I’m finally ready,” Patrick said. “I think that the schedule doesn’t intimidate me as much as it used to. It’s going to be a lot to learn.”
While Patrick is likely to get a lot of attention, her sportsbetting success has been extremely limited. She has just one sportsbetting win in her career and that was in Japan. She is almost a guarantee to struggle in the Nationwide Series in sportsbetting. Even Kelley Earnhardt, who is the sister of co-owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. said that expectations are not that high. “I think it’s reasonable for her to be in the top 15 of the series when she’s running.” That may be an optimistic point of view in sportsbetting considering Patrick has not proven she can be among the top drivers in sports betting online even with the best equipment in the IndyCar series. She will attract a lot of sportsbetting attention though and that is good news for NASCAR.
