Cowboys-Vikings Game Got Huge Ratings Sports Betting Online

Sports betting online had a huge game this past weekend as the Minnesota Vikings routed the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 34-3. Even though they game was not competitive in sportsbetting, it got a 23.9 overnight rating on Fox and a 46 share.

Sports betting online can be popular on Dallas and the Vikings have been a huge hit with Brett Favre. That combination gave Fox the highest rating for a divisional playoff game in the early time slot since a 1996 when the Philadelphia Eagles played the Cowboys. The ratings were 14 percent higher than last year when the Eagles faced the Giants.

Minnesota now goes on the road for the NFC Championship game and those ratings will be even higher. The sports betting online game starts late in the afternoon on Sunday which means it will carry into prime time.  That should mean outstanding ratings for Fox on Sunday night.  If the game is close then the numbers will be off the charts since it is Brett Favre and the Vikings against Drew Brees and the Saints. New Orleans is a four point favorite in sports betting online against the Vikings.  The total on this game is 52.5 as many people are predicting a high scoring game.

Both the Saints and the Vikings come off huge sportsbetting wins last week. The Vikings routed the Cowboys while the Saints did the same thing to the Arizona Cardinals.  Anytime two high-powered offenses get together it makes for a very popular sports betting online contest and that is case this week as Favre and the Vikings face Brees and the Saints. New Orleans had the #1 ranked offense in the NFL this season and Minnesota was not bad either as they were second in the league in points scored.  A high scoring shootout could be on tap in what should be a great sportsbetting contest.  The Saints were very good at home this season while the Vikings were just so-so on the road at 4-4 versus the sports betting online number.  The sportsbetting edge goes to New Orleans for the home field but the Vikings have the better defense and they have the Favre factor. Whether that will be enough to pull out the sports betting online victory is the question and why a lot of people will be watching on Sunday.
