Bucks get John Salmons from Chicago

Sports betting had the Chicago Bulls trading guard John Salmons to the Milwaukee Bucks for forwards Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander. Internet sports betting stats had Salmons averaging just over 12 points per game for the Bulls this season.

Sports betting had the Bucks looking to make the playoffs this season and they believe Salmons can help. “He’s a good pro guard,” Bucks coach Scott Skiles said. “He’s been a solid player for quite a while, and we feel like we still need to solidify one of our perimeter spots, especially with Michael [Redd] out. So it made sense.”   Internet sports betting also had Milwaukee getting Chicago’s second round draft picks in 2011 and in 2012 and they can switch picks with Chicago in next year’s draft.

The trade was simply a salary dump for the Bulls as getting Warrick and Alexander allows them to get rid of those contracts after this sports betting year.  Warrick averaged 10.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game this sports betting NBA season for Milwaukee while Alexander is not even playing in the league.

The Bulls were not done at the trading deadline as sports betting indicated, as they sent Tyrus Thomas to Charlotte for Flip Murray, Acie Law and a first round pick. “We feel the future first-round pick will be important as we continue to build,” Bulls general manager Gar Forman said. “It’s a chip we’ll be able to use whether to acquire a player or via trade down the road.”

Chicago is still very much in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference as Internet sports betting indicated but the Bulls seem to be more concerned about freeing up cap space for next season.  Their GM gave the party line speech though. “It’s important to remain in the playoff hunt,” he said. “We wanted our team to remain competitive and try to get as high a seed as we can get. And we feel we did that. Our starters are intact, and we feel we added some depth and some versatility.”  Thomas was averaging 8.8 points and 6.3 rebounds for the Bulls this season as sports betting stats had it.  He could be a major help to Charlotte in Internet sports betting as they look to make the playoffs. Murray is averaging 9.9 points per game this season as sports betting numbers indicated while Law rarely sees the court.
