Sportsbetting could have UFC heavyweight title holder Brock Lesnar back on the board very soon as the champ is ready to resume his training.
He was dealing with a very serious intestinal problem that forced him to take some time off. Now he appears ready to get back into action and sports betting online could have him fighting later this year.
Sportsbetting has not seen Lesnar on the board since last July when he beat Frank Mir in UFC 100. It is now expected that Lesnar will fight the winner of the bout in sports betting online between Mir and Shane Carwin. Lesnar is very happy to get back into action. "Everybody has got life-changing experiences, and this is one of them for me," Lesnar said, “I believe things happen for a reason. It gave me a different perspective on life and my family. I considered myself a healthy human being, and for something like this to happen to me, I need to re-evaluate. I have to make some changes."
Lesnar has not been on the sportsbetting scene for very long but he made a big mark very quickly. With just four fights in less than two years, Lesnar became the biggest sportsbetting star in MMA. He is ready to get right back into action later this sports betting online year. "The heavyweight division should be back on their toes again," Lesnar said.
Lesnar had to withdraw from his sportsbetting bout against Carwin at UFC 106 due to his illness. Now he might get a shot at Carwin again in sports betting online. The health situation for Lesnar caused him to lose 40 pounds. It shouldn’t take him long to bet back into shape. He should be ready for the sportsbetting winner of Mir vs. Carwin or maybe the winner of Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
Lesnar has changed his diet and is setting a goal of being back in top shape very soon. "I think it’s raised my conditioning level, because I was really at the bottom," Lesnar said. "Now I’m back in the gym, and I feel great. I feel like my old self again."
UFC 109 is scheduled for the first sports betting online Saturday in February with Randy Couture facing Mark Coleman. While that bout is definitely interesting in sportsbetting, it will be great to get Lesnar back and headlining the UFC.
